Unity Baptist Church is a warm congregation of believers in Danville, Kentucky, joined together by faith in Jesus Christ and a commitment to love God and love our neighbors.
We gather weekly to worship God through prayer, song, and verse-by-verse preaching of Holy Scripture. We strive to be a church where families and individuals find encouragement, spiritual growth, and authentic Christian community.
Our church value is grounded in historical Baptist heritage, exalting the authority of scripture, congregational fellowship, and the Great Commission.

What We Believe
Our core beliefs are rooted in Holy Scripture.
The Bible
The inspired, infallible Word of God, our supreme authority in all matters of faith and practice.
We believe the Holy Bible was written by men divinely inspired and is God's revelation of Himself to man. It is a perfect treasure of heavenly instruction.
God
One living and true God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe there is one, and only one, living and true God. The eternal triune God reveals Himself to us as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, with distinct personal attributes, but without division of nature, essence, or being.
Jesus Christ
The eternal Son of God, fully God and fully man, who died for our sins and rose bodily from the dead.
We believe Christ is the eternal Son of God. In His incarnation as Jesus Christ, He was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life, died on the cross for human redemption, was raised from the dead, and ascended to heaven.
Salvation
Salvation is offered freely to all who accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior through grace by faith alone.
We believe salvation involves the redemption of the whole person, and is offered freely to all who accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, who by His own blood obtained eternal redemption for the believer.
The Church
An autonomous local body of baptized believers united by covenant in faith and fellowship of the Gospel.
A New Testament church of the Lord Jesus Christ is an autonomous local congregation of baptized believers, associated by covenant in the faith and fellowship of the gospel; observing the two ordinances of Christ, governed by His laws, and exercising the gifts given by the Holy Spirit.
Baptism & Lord's Supper
Two Christian ordinances celebrating believers' immersion in water and remembrance of Christ's sacrifice.
Christian baptism is the immersion of a believer in water in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The Lord's Supper is a symbolic act of obedience whereby members partake of the bread and the fruit of the vine.
Christian Living
Living a life devoted to loving God, serving others, sharing the gospel, and honoring Christ.
We believe all Christians are called to live in obedience to God's Word, growing in holiness, exercising love toward neighbor, and participating in local & global evangelism.
